Our take on the AULA Hero84 HE 84-Key Wired Hall Effect Magnetic Gaming Keyboard

The AULA Hero84 HE is a compact 84-key wired gaming keyboard built on Hall Effect magnetic switches. That means adjustable actuation points and rapid trigger, features usually found on keyboards costing two to three times more. It has a QWERTY layout and connects by USB to a PC. At $62.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, so this is a strong time to buy.

Questions and answers

Is the AULA Hero84 HE worth it?
Yes, if you want rapid trigger and adjustable actuation without spending much. At $62.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, it undercuts most Hall Effect keyboards. Skip it if you need wireless or a numpad.
Does it support rapid trigger?
Yes. The Hall Effect switches let you set actuation points and enable rapid trigger in the AULA software. That makes repeated strafing and counter-strafing faster in shooters.
Is it good for typing and office work?
It works, but the 84-key layout has no numpad and the stock sound is not quiet. For heavy typing, a standard mechanical board may suit you better.
What is in the box?
Expect the keyboard and a USB cable. Check the listing for a keycap puller or extra switches, since bundles vary by seller.
Does it work with consoles or Mac?
It is listed for PC use with a wired USB connection. Basic typing may work on other systems, but the configuration software is Windows-focused.
When is it cheapest?
The current $62.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range. Big sale events like Black Friday are the next likely window for a lower price.
