Questions and answers

Is the Auseo 3 cu. ft. upright freezer worth it?
It suits a small overflow freezer for a kitchen, office or garage. If you need frost-free operation or a precise digital thermostat, spend more on a larger brand.
How cold does it get?
The thermostat range runs from about -13°F to 10.4°F. That covers frozen storage, but the dial gives no exact readout, so use a separate thermometer.
Does it need manual defrosting?
Yes. There is no frost-free system listed, so ice will build on the coils and you will need to empty it and defrost periodically.
What are the dimensions and will it fit under a counter?
It measures about 17.5 in wide, 21.5 in deep and 25 in tall. That fits under most standard counters, but leave clearance at the back for the compressor.
Can the door open either way?
Yes. The single door is reversible, so you can set the hinge on the left or right to suit your space.
When is it cheapest?
Mini freezers usually dip during late-summer clearance and Black Friday sales. Track its price history here and buy when the current price sits near the low end of its recent range.
What do buyers say about the Auseo Upright Freezer Mini Freezer with Adjustable Thermostat & Reversible Single Door?
Rated 3.5 out of 5 from 128 ratings.
