Our take on the Avie Queen Sofa Sleeper 2 Accent Pillows

The Avie Queen Sofa Sleeper is an 85-inch-wide polyester-upholstered sofa with a pull-out queen memory foam mattress and two accent pillows included. It seats three comfortably with loose foam-and-memory-foam seat cushions, attached back, track arms and exposed faux wood feet, and it holds up to 750 lb. The smooth polyester cover and faux wood frame keep it a budget-friendly piece rather than a heirloom. Its latest best price sits near the low end of its recent range, so it is a reasonable time to buy if the size and sleeper function fit your room.

Questions and answers

Is the Avie sofa sleeper worth it?
It is a sensible buy if you need an occasional guest bed and a three-seat sofa in one piece at a low price. Do not expect it to match a standalone queen mattress for nightly sleeping.
How big is the bed when pulled out?
The sleeper opens to a standard queen mattress, roughly 60 by 80 inches. Check that your room has clearance beyond the 37-inch sofa depth for the mattress to extend.
What mattress comes with it?
It ships with a queen memory foam mattress. It is thinner than a standard bed mattress, which is typical for sleeper sofas.
Does it come with pillows?
Yes, two accent pillows are included. The seat and back cushions are part of the sofa itself.
Can the cushions be removed or washed?
The seat cushions are loose and can be removed, but the back is attached. The polyester cover is not described as machine washable, so spot clean it.
When is the best time to buy?
Sleeper sofas usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season furniture events. Track the price history and buy when it sits near the low end of its range.
