Our take on the B3e MG30 Bluetooth Mouse

The B3e MG30 is a right-handed wireless mouse with six programmable buttons and Bluetooth plus a USB wireless receiver, so it can pair with laptops, tablets and desktops without a dongle. Its ergonomic shape suits all-day desk use. It is a budget-tier mouse rather than a gaming or precision model, and no current store price was provided, so compare it against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the B3e MG30 worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a cheap right-handed mouse with Bluetooth and extra buttons. Check the current price against its recent range first, since no price was listed.
Does it work without the USB receiver?
Yes. It connects over Bluetooth, so you can use it with a laptop or tablet without the receiver. The USB receiver is there for machines without Bluetooth.
Is it good for left-handed users?
No. The MG30 is shaped for right-handed use, so left-handed buyers should look for an ambidextrous model.
Can I reprogram the six buttons?
The buttons are listed as programmable, so you can remap them with the vendor's software. Expect basic shortcut and navigation mapping rather than deep macro support.
What is in the box?
Expect the mouse, the USB wireless receiver and basic documentation. A battery is not confirmed, so check the listing before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Budget mice like this usually dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Set a price alert and compare against its recent range.
