Our take on the Backpack Gas Leaf Blower 52-66cc Powerful Engine 270-320mph

This is a backpack-style gas leaf blower with a 52cc engine, rated at up to 270 mph air speed and 780 CFM. It is aimed at commercial and heavy residential use, where a backpack frame spreads the weight across your shoulders and back. The listing is a generic, unbranded model, so engine quality and parts support vary by seller. At $124.15 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is priced far below name-brand backpack blowers, which typically run $300 to $600.

Questions and answers

Is this blower worth it compared with a name brand?
At $124.15 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it costs a fraction of a Stihl or Husqvarna backpack blower. The trade-off is that parts, service and warranty support are uncertain on an unbranded unit.
Is 52cc enough for commercial work?
52cc with 780 CFM is in the range of mid-size commercial backpack blowers. It should handle wet leaves and large lawns, though it will not match 70cc-plus pro models in raw power.
What fuel mix does it need?
Most 52cc two-stroke backpack blowers run on a 50:1 gas-to-oil mix. Confirm the ratio in the manual before the first tank, since running straight gas can seize the engine.
How does it compare with a cordless blower?
It is louder and needs fuel, but it runs indefinitely without battery swaps and moves far more air than most handheld battery blowers. Cordless makes more sense for small yards near neighbors.
What comes in the box?
Expect the blower, backpack frame and a nozzle tube. Vacuum kits, extra tubes and ear protection are usually sold separately on listings like this, so check before buying.
When is the price lowest?
Gas leaf blowers usually drop in late summer and early fall, and again after the leaf season ends. Watch the price history for dips outside September and October.
Where is the Backpack Gas Leaf Blower 52-66cc Powerful Engine 270-320mph cheapest?
At Walmart, for $124.15, as of our latest check.
