Our take on the Baken Kids Tablet 7 inch 32GB WiFi Android Tablet

The Baken Kids Tablet is a 7-inch Android tablet with a 1024x600 display, 32GB of storage and Wi-Fi only, sold in pink as a child's first tablet. Its specs are entry-level even for the kids' tablet category, and its 1-out-of-5 average from 167 ratings is a serious warning. At $49.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is cheap, but the price is not far below what better-known kids' tablets cost on sale.

Questions and answers

Is the Baken Kids Tablet worth buying?
Its 1-out-of-5 average from 167 ratings makes it hard to recommend. Spend a little more on a better-known kids' tablet unless $49.99 is a hard limit.
Is the screen good for a child?
The 1024x600 resolution on a 7-inch screen is low and looks soft. It is fine for simple videos but weak for games and reading.
How much storage does it have?
It has 32GB. That holds a modest set of apps and downloaded videos, but the Android system takes part of it.
