Is a woven wood shade good for a bedroom?

It filters light well, but it is not room-darkening. For sleep, pair it with a blackout liner or choose a different shade.

Does it give privacy at night?

Only partly. With interior lights on, the weave can be seen through from outside, so use it in rooms where that is acceptable.

How do I measure for a custom Bali shade?

Measure the window width and height in three places and use the smallest figure. Bali dealers specify inside or outside mount, which changes the size you order.

Why is the eBay price so low?

$29.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026 likely reflects a small stock or clearance size, not a full custom shade. Confirm the exact dimensions before buying.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. This shade is rated for indoor use only, and damp rooms can warp or stain bamboo.

Our take on the Bali Natural Woven Wood Shade

The Bali Natural Woven Wood Shade is an indoor window shade made of woven bamboo, sold in custom sizes through Bali's blind network. It filters light through natural slats and gives a room a warm, textured look that fabric shades don't. The best new price is $29.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, well below typical custom-shade pricing, though that listing may cover a small or stock size rather than a made-to-measure one.
