Pros
  • Low price: $16 at Banana Republic Factory as of November 3, 2026
  • Extra 20% off at checkout and 60% off already applied
  • Gold-tone brass with cubic zirconia gives a dressier look than the price suggests
  • One size, so no sizing decision
  • Pay in 4 options through PayPal and Klarna
Cons
  • Brass with gold plating can tarnish or wear with sweat and perfume
  • Cubic zirconia, not a diamond or gemstone
  • One size may not suit every neckline or chain-length preference
  • Only one store prices it new, so there is little price competition
  • Fashion jewelry, so not built for daily wear over years

Questions and answers

Is $16 a good price for this necklace?
It is the highest price seen in the short window since October 30, 2026, when it was $10. With the extra 20% off at checkout, the effective cost drops below $16, which is close to the low.
Will the gold finish tarnish?
It is gold-tone brass, so the plating can wear or discolor with sweat, perfume and lotion. Keep it dry and store it separately to make it last longer.
What is the chain length?
It is listed as one size with no adjustable extender noted. Check the product page for the exact drop before buying if length matters to you.
Is the stone a real diamond?
No. The accent is cubic zirconia, a synthetic stone, set in brass with a gold finish.
What comes in the box?
Expect the necklace only, without a gift box unless stated. Banana Republic Factory often offers gift packaging separately.
When is it cheapest?
The lowest recent price was $10 on October 30, 2026. Stacking the 60% off with the extra 20% at checkout is the best route to that level.
