Is the 600 lb rating realistic?

The chair is rated to 600 lbs, well above most shower chairs, and owners generally describe the frame as sturdy. As with any bath seat, check that your tub floor is flat and clean before use.

Does it fit in a standard bathtub?

It is designed for tub use, but at roughly 17 by 13 inches it is bulky for small tubs. Measure your tub floor before buying.

How do I adjust the height?

The legs are height adjustable, so you can set the seat to suit the user and the tub. Adjust all legs evenly so the chair sits level.

Do the padded arms come off?

The arms and back are included as part of the chair. They are not described as removable, so plan to dry the padding after each use.

Is $49.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $49.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Chairs with arms and a back often cost more.

The chair ships with the seat, back, padded arms and legs. Check the listing for the exact hardware included.
