Is the Barcalounger Harper a two-seat power recliner?

Yes. It is a two-seat loveseat with power reclining, foam filling and padded armrests, upholstered in gray leather.

What is the best price for the Harper loveseat?

The best new price is $2,123.10 at 1stopbedrooms as of November 7, 2026. Only one store lists it new, so check that listing before buying.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. Power recline runs on an electric motor, so each reclining seat needs access to an outlet. Plan the placement before delivery.

Is leather a good choice for a reclining loveseat?

Leather wears well and wipes clean, but it needs occasional conditioning and can feel cold at first. Keep it out of direct sun to avoid fading and cracking.

How does it compare with a manual reclining loveseat?

Power recline moves smoothly at the touch of a button and lets you stop at any angle. Manual recliners cost less and have no motor to fail, but you push back to recline.

When is the best time to buy it?

Furniture discounts cluster around holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. With one store listing it, watch that price rather than waiting for a store-to-store price war.
