Is the 24-hour battery life realistic?

Treat it as a best case at low volume. A 2400 mAh battery driving 30 W will typically run a handful of hours at loud levels, so charge it before a long day out.

Can I take it in the shower or pool?

IPX6 means it survives splashes and rain, not being dropped in water. Keep it out of the pool and don't rinse it under a tap.

Does it have real stereo sound?

It lists stereo output, but a single 52 mm driver in a 17.8 cm body gives little separation. Expect a mono-like sound with some width.

Is $19.99 a good price?

It is the lowest price seen since October 31, 2026, against a high of $29.99. At that gap it is a reasonable buy if you just need a cheap splash-proof speaker.

What comes in the box?

Typically the speaker and a charging cable. A wall adapter is unlikely at this price, so check before buying if you need one.

How does it compare with the ROAR 2?

Bluetooth 5.4 is the main listed upgrade. Without confirmed driver or battery changes, the jump is small, so buy the cheaper of the two.

Our take on the BassBloom ROAR 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker

The BassBloom ROAR 3 is a small, light portable Bluetooth speaker: 480 g, 17.8 cm long, 30 W of claimed output from a 52 mm driver, IPX6 water resistance and Bluetooth 5.4. Its 24-hour battery claim is ambitious for a 2400 mAh cell at 30 W, so expect far less at high volume. The latest best price is $19.99, the low end of its short recorded range of $19.99 to $29.99.
