Is the Vapor League worth it over the Vapor X4?

The League sits above the X4 with a stiffer TEXTREME blade and more recoil in the shaft. If you shoot often and want a faster release, the upgrade is noticeable; casual players can save with the X4.

What flex should I pick?

This stick comes in 70 flex, which suits players roughly 150 pounds and up who lean into shots. Lighter or younger skaters should look at a lower flex in the same line.

Which curve is right for me?

P92 is the all-around choice for most forwards. P28 gives a toe-heavy curve for quick releases, P88 is a flatter mid curve for control, and P92M is a max-height version of P92.

Is it good for slap shots?

It is built around a low kick point, so wrist and snap shots release fastest. Big slap shots benefit more from a mid kick stick.

What is the stick length?

It is 60 inches, the standard senior length. You can cut it down, but trimming stiffens the flex.

Our take on the Bauer S23 Vapor League SR Hockey Composite Stick

The Bauer S23 Vapor League SR is a senior composite hockey stick built for offensive players who want a quick, low-kick release. It pairs a 70-flex carbon shaft with a low kick point near the hosel, a textured TEXTREME blade, and Bauer's HYP2RCORE blade core. Bauer claims the design adds 10% recoil and makes it 10% easier to lean into shots. It comes in 60-inch length with P28, P88, P92 or P92M curves.
