Questions and answers

Is the Bear Archery Variable Speed Crossbow Scope worth it?
It depends on your bow and budget. The sealed, fog-proof build and variable-speed design are useful, but the 2.6 out of 5 rating from 5 ratings is a caution flag. Compare it with fixed-power crossbow scopes before deciding.
What crossbow speeds does it work with?
Bear markets it as a variable-speed scope, meaning the reticle is set up to match a range of crossbow velocities rather than one fixed speed. Check the reticle manual for the exact speed band and yardage marks.
Is it waterproof and fog proof?
Yes. The listing states it is waterproof, fog proof and shockproof, which matters for wet or cold hunts. Keep the lens caps on and avoid harsh cleaning solvents on the coatings.
What is in the box?
The listing does not spell out the contents. Expect the scope itself; confirm whether rings, lens caps and a manual are included with the seller before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
Crossbow optics usually drop around pre-season sales in late summer and after the season ends. Track the price history on this page and buy when it sits below its recent range.
What do buyers say about the Bear Archery Variable Speed Crossbow Scope?
Rated 2.6 out of 5 from 5 ratings.
