Despite that generous cooking area, the griddle keeps a slim design that's made to tuck into a cabinet when you're done. Thoughtful, removable components make it easy to set up and take apart: a detachable stainless steel backsplash sits along the back edge while you cook, and a removable drip tray collects fats and oils that come off your food. A removable heat-control dial lets you adjust the temperature across a range of 200°F-400°F to match what you're cooking. The cooking surface features a ceramic nonstick coating, and the manufacturer notes that "non-toxic" refers to ceramic coating materials with no intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium.
