Is the Beautyrest Black Series One firm pillow top good for side sleepers?

It is on the firm end even with the pillow top, so many side sleepers find it too hard on shoulders and hips. Back and stomach sleepers usually do better with it.

Does it come with the box spring?

Yes, this listing pairs the 14.25-inch mattress with a box spring. Check the store listing for the box spring height before you buy.

How many coils does it have?

It uses 696 coils in an innerspring build. That is a moderate count for a 14.25-inch mattress and gives decent edge support.

What is the weight limit?

The stated maximum weight limit is 850 lbs. That is high for a mainstream innerspring and suits heavier sleepers.

Is $1,748 a good price?

It is the best new price across the two stores listing it as of November 6, 2026, but it is near the top of this line's usual range. Wait for a holiday sale if you are not in a hurry.

Will it work on an adjustable base?

Beautyrest Black innersprings are generally compatible with adjustable bases, but confirm with the seller for this specific model before buying.
