Our take on the Beautyrest BR800 Greenwood 12 Inch Plush Euro Top Mattress

The Beautyrest BR800 Greenwood is a 12-inch hybrid mattress that pairs an innerspring core with gel memory foam and a plush Euro top. It is the entry point to Beautyrest's BR800 line, sold in King and Full XL. The lowest price seen since November 3, 2026 was $469.99 on November 4, against a high of $609.99 on November 3, so the current spread is wide and worth watching.

Best forSide and back sleepers who want a soft, cushioned topCouples who want spring support with foam comfortGuest rooms and second bedroomsShoppers who want a major brand at an entry price
Pros
  • Plush Euro top adds a soft, quilted layer over the springs
  • Gel memory foam helps draw heat away from the body
  • Innerspring core gives a bouncier, easier-to-move-on feel than all-foam
  • 12-inch profile fits standard sheets and frames
  • Available in King and Full XL
Cons
  • Plush feel may be too soft for stomach sleepers or heavier bodies
  • Euro top adds height and can sag sooner than a tight top
  • Innersprings transfer some motion, so it is not the best for light sleepers
  • Only two sizes offered, no Queen or Twin

Questions and answers

Is the BR800 Greenwood worth it?
At the low end of its recent range, around $470, it is a reasonable buy for a soft hybrid from a known brand. Near $610 it competes with better-reviewed hybrids, so wait for a dip.
How does it compare with the BR800 medium firm?
The Greenwood's plush Euro top is softer than the medium-firm BR800 models. Choose the Greenwood if you sleep on your side and want cushioning; pick medium firm for back or stomach sleeping.
Is it good for couples?
The springs give it a responsive feel, but they transfer more motion than all-foam beds. Light sleepers may notice a partner moving.
What sizes does it come in?
King and Full XL only. There is no Queen, Twin or California King in this listing.
Does it need a box spring?
It works on a box spring, a slatted frame or an adjustable base. A solid platform is fine as long as it supports the mattress evenly.
When is it cheapest?
The lowest price since November 3, 2026 was $469.99 on November 4, about $140 below the $609.99 high. Holiday and mattress-sale periods are the usual times to watch.
Where is the Beautyrest BR800 Greenwood 12 Inch Plush Euro Top Mattress cheapest?

What do buyers say about the Beautyrest BR800 Greenwood 12 Inch Plush Euro Top Mattress?
