The BeautySleep Dream Weaver is a firm innerspring mattress with pocketed coils and gel foam comfort layers, sold in a 12.5-inch tight-top build. It is aimed at stomach sleepers and adults who want back support from a traditional quilted mattress. The best new price is $499 at JCPenney as of November 5, 2026, with five stores listing it new.

Best forStomach sleepers who need a firm, flat surfaceAdults with back pain who prefer a supportive feelShoppers who want a traditional innerspring mattressGuest rooms and everyday adult beds
Pros
  • Firm tight-top surface keeps the spine level for stomach sleeping
  • Pocketed coils limit motion transfer better than a linked-coil spring bed
  • Gel foam layer adds pressure relief without a soft, sinking feel
  • Quilted cover and airflow-focused build help it sleep cooler than foam-only beds
  • $499 at JCPenney is a low entry price for a 12.5-inch innerspring
Cons
  • Firm feel is too hard for side sleepers and many couples with mixed preferences
  • Innerspring beds can develop sag and noise sooner than all-foam models
  • Needs a box spring or sturdy foundation, which adds cost
  • Only 59 ratings, so the review base is thin
  • No trial period or warranty details are tied to the price shown

Questions and answers

Is the Dream Weaver firm mattress good for back pain?
It is built for that use: a firm tight top over pocketed coils keeps the spine straighter for back and stomach sleepers. Side sleepers may find it too hard and should look at a softer model.
Do I need a box spring with it?
BeautySleep lists a box spring as the foundation type, and an innerspring mattress needs a sturdy base. A platform bed frame with close slats can also work, but check the frame's warranty terms.
Is $499 at JCPenney a good price?
It is the lowest new price among the five stores listing it as of November 5, 2026. Mattress prices swing with holiday sales, so compare against the other stores before buying.
What size is this mattress?
The listed dimensions are 38 inches wide by 79.5 inches long, which is a twin. Other sizes are sold separately, so confirm the size on the listing before ordering.
How does it compare with an all-foam mattress?
Pocketed coils give more bounce and airflow, and the gel foam adds pressure relief. All-foam beds usually isolate motion better and ship compressed in a box; this one is a traditional innerspring.
Is it good for couples?
Pocketed coils reduce motion transfer, but the firm surface suits stomach and back sleepers more than side sleepers. Couples with different preferences should try it in a store first.
Where is the BeautySleep Dream Weaver 12.5" Firm Mattress cheapest?
At JCPenney, for $499.00, as of our latest check.
