Our take on the Bedsure ComfyFleece Cozy Crate Dog Bed

The Bedsure ComfyFleece Cozy Crate Dog Bed is a flat orthopedic mat with an egg-crate foam surface, a removable polyester cover and a waterproof liner. It is 47 by 29 inches and 4 inches thick in XX-Large, so it suits large dogs and fits most 48-inch crates. The cover is machine washable and tumble dryable, and the non-slip bottom keeps it in place on hard floors. At $17.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range.

Questions and answers

Is the Bedsure ComfyFleece bed worth it?
At $17.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, it is a cheap way to add washable padding to a crate or floor spot. It is a mat, not a deep bolster bed, so expect modest cushioning.
Does it fit a 48-inch crate?
The XX-Large measures 47 by 29 inches, which fits most 48-inch crates with little room to spare. Measure your crate's interior before ordering.
Can the cover go in the washing machine?
Yes. The cover is removable and machine washable, and Bedsure lists tumble dry as safe. Wash cold and check the liner for tears first.
Is it really waterproof?
The listing says yes, and the waterproof liner sits under the cover. The fleece top itself will absorb spills until the cover is washed.
Is it good for a senior or arthritic dog?
It offers gentle egg-crate foam support, but at 4 inches thick it is not a deep orthopedic bed. Very heavy or very stiff dogs may do better with a thicker foam base.
When is it cheapest?
The current $17.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range. Watch for pet-bed sales around holidays for similar pricing.
