Beige Velvet Swivel Barrel Accent Chair

Our take on the Beige Velvet Swivel Barrel Accent Chair

A single-seat barrel accent chair upholstered in beige velvet, with a pillow back, pillow seat and a swivel base. The barrel shape wraps the sitter and the swivel makes it easy to turn toward a conversation or a screen. It is a small, light-use chair rather than a lounger: the seat is about 27 inches wide and the back is only 14.2 inches high. At $171.35 at Target as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers

Is this chair good for everyday lounging?

It is better for short sits and conversation than long lounging. The back is only 14.2 inches high and the seat is a single pillow, so it offers little head support.

How big is the seat?

The seat is about 27.2 inches wide and 27.6 inches deep, with a 27.6-inch-wide back. That fits one average adult comfortably.

Does it swivel?

Yes. The base swivels, so you can turn the chair toward a TV, a table or another person without getting up.

How much assembly is needed?

Adult assembly is required, and some tools come in the box. Expect to attach the base and legs before use.

Is $171.35 a good price?

Target lists it at $171.35 as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price we have. Without other stores to compare, judge it against similar velvet swivel chairs, which often run $150 to $250.

Will the beige velvet stain?

Light velvet picks up spills, pet hair and denim dye. Blot spills quickly and vacuum gently; a slipcover or a darker spot is safer in busy rooms.

Where is the Beige Velvet Swivel Barrel Accent Chair cheapest?

At Target, for $171.35, as of our latest check.
