Our take on the Bernat Forever Fleece Yarn

Bernat Forever Fleece is a 280 g ball of 1-ply polyester fleece yarn in the worsted weight category, with a soft, heathered halo and a warm, plush hand. Each ball runs 177 m and is OEKO-TEX certified against more than 300 harmful substances, and it is machine washable. It is aimed at baby projects and warmth-focused makes, and the fleecy texture hides stitch detail, so simple patterns work best. The best new price is $10.49 at Yarnspirations as of November 4, 2026, with 7 stores listing it new.

What is the difference between Forever Fleece and Forever Fleece Finer?
Forever Fleece Finer is the lighter yarn in the family, while this listing is the standard worsted-weight fleece ball at 280 g. Check the gauge on the label before substituting one for the other.
What size needles or hook does it use?
The listed gauges are 2.5 stitches per inch on knitting needles and 8 stitches per 4 inches in crochet. Swatch first, because the fuzzy texture makes gauge easy to misread.
