- Is this kit worth it for a complete beginner?
- Yes, if you want an easel and basic supplies in one purchase. The easel is the strong part; expect to upgrade the paints later.
- How tall is the easel and what canvas fits?
- It adjusts from 48 to 69 inches and holds canvas up to 34 inches high. That covers most tabletop and standing work.
- Is it good for travel and plein-air painting?
- It folds to 22 by 16 inches and is light enough to carry. At full height the tripod is less steady, so keep it lower outdoors.
- What is included in the 32 pieces?
- Acrylic paints, brushes, canvas panels, 8 canvas panel wedges, and plastic and wooden palettes. The easel itself is the main piece.
- Is $99.99 a good price?
- It is the lowest new price among the 8 stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. That puts it at the low end of its recent range.
- Does it work with oil paints too?
- The kit is built around acrylics, but the easel holds any canvas. You would need to buy oil paints and solvents separately.
