Questions and answers

Is the BestPet 18-inch crate worth it?
For a puppy or a toy breed, yes at $19.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026. It is a basic wire crate, so do not expect the rigidity of a $100 crate.
What size dog fits an 18-inch crate?
It suits puppies and adult dogs up to roughly 15 pounds, such as Chihuahuas and Yorkies. Measure your dog's length and height against the 30-inch width and 32-inch height before buying.
Does it fold flat?
Yes. The panels fold down so the crate stores flat or fits in a car trunk. Setup does not need tools.
Does it come with a divider or mat?
No. This model is the crate only, so plan on buying a bed or mat and a divider separately if you are house-training a puppy.
When is the price lowest?
It is already a budget crate at $19.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026. Watch for holiday and back-to-school pet promotions, when small crates typically drop a few dollars.
