Questions and answers

Is $252.33 a good price for this set?

It is the only new price listed, at Etsy as of November 4, 2026. Typical acrylic American sets sell for $80 to $150, so you are paying a premium for the engraved blush pearl finish.

Are the tiles engraved or printed?

They are laser engraved, so the characters are cut into the acrylic and will not wear off with handling. Printed sets can fade or rub at the edges over years of play.

Does it include racks and a dice set?

The listing describes a mahjong set with acrylic tiles but does not itemize racks, pushers, dice or a bag. Confirm the contents with the seller before buying.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes, if you play American mahjong with jokers and a card. The engraved faces are easy to read, though the blush color is less conventional than ivory for quick tile sorting.

How does it compare with a resin or Bakelite set?

Acrylic is lighter and cheaper to ship but feels less dense and makes a sharper click. Resin and Bakelite sets cost more and are heavier to carry to game night.

When is it cheapest?

With one store listing it, discounts are unlikely outside Etsy sales or coupon events. Watch the listing around major sale periods rather than expecting regular markdowns.

Where is the Blush Pearl American Mahjong Set cheapest?

At Etsy, for $252.33, as of our latest check.
