What reviewers say
Owners of picky dogs report these soft treats get eaten when biscuits are refused. Those with sensitive dogs like the short ingredient list. Some note the treats dry out after opening and that oat is the main ingredient, so grain-sensitive dogs should skip them.
- TexturePraisedOwners say the soft, chewy bite suits dogs that refuse hard biscuits.
- IngredientsMixedThe short list is welcomed, but oat as the base means it is not grain-free.
- FreshnessCriticisedSome owners say the treats stiffen and dry out once the bag is opened.
Questions and answers
- Are these treats grain-free?
- No. Oat is the main ingredient, so they contain grain and are not suitable for dogs on a grain-free diet.
- What size dog are they for?
- They are soft, small treats suited to small and medium adult dogs. Large dogs can eat them but will finish a 12-oz bag quickly.
- Can I use them for training?
- Yes. The soft texture tears into small pieces easily, which works well for reward-based training.
- How should I store the bag?
- Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place. Because the treats are soft, resealing tightly after each use keeps them from drying out.
- Are they a complete food?
- No. They are treats, not a meal, and should make up only a small part of an adult dog's daily diet.
- Where can I buy the Bocce's Bakery Berry Yogurt Smoothie Wellness Limited-Ingredient-Diet Adult Soft & Chewy Dog Treats 12-oz Bag?
- 3 stores we checked sell it, including Chewy, Petsmart, Tractor Supply Co.
