Is it worth buying over a wool runner?

If you want something you can machine wash and that resists stains, polypropylene is the practical pick. Wool feels softer and lasts longer but costs more and usually needs professional cleaning.

Can it really go in a washing machine?

The listing says machine washable, but a 7'3" runner needs a large-capacity or commercial machine. Check your drum size first, and use cold water and air dry.

Does it need a rug pad?

It has no backing, so a pad is recommended on hardwood or tile to stop slipping and add cushioning. On carpet it can go without.

What are the exact dimensions?

2'7" wide by 7'3" long, a runner shape. Measure your hallway or bedside gap before ordering, since the narrow width limits where it fits.

What colors are available?

Burnt orange, aqua, blue, burgundy, off white, red and mustard. The style is described as both bohemian and traditional depending on the colorway.

Our take on the Bodrum Area Rug

The Bodrum Area Rug is a machine-woven 100% polypropylene runner, 2'7" by 7'3", made in Turkey in a bohemian/traditional style with a 0.26-inch medium pile. It has no backing and is listed as machine washable, which is unusual for a rug this size. It suits hallways, entryways and narrow spaces beside a bed or sofa. No current price was provided, so its price against its recent range cannot be stated.
