Our take on the Boneless Couch Noelse 5-in-1 Convertible Sofa Bed

The Boneless Couch Noelse is a fabric convertible sofa bed that folds into five positions, from upright couch to flat sleeper. It is long at 78 inches and deep at 37 inches, so it doubles as a lounger and a bed for one or two people. The beige fabric and track arms give it a plain, neutral look that fits most living rooms. It is a budget-tier piece, so expect lighter foam and a simple folding frame rather than a sprung mattress.

Questions and answers

Is the Noelse comfortable as a full-time bed?
It works for occasional guests, not nightly sleeping. The foam is thin and firm when flat, so most owners add a mattress topper for multi-night use.
How many people fit on it?
One adult sleeps comfortably at 78 inches long. Two smaller adults can share it, but the 37-inch depth leaves little room to spread out.
Does it come with pillows or a mattress?
No. It is the sofa frame and cushions only, so plan on buying pillows and a topper separately if you will sleep on it.
How do I clean the beige fabric?
Spot clean with a mild upholstery cleaner and vacuum regularly. The covers are not stated as removable, so avoid soaking the cushions.
Is it hard to convert?
No. It folds between positions by hand in seconds, though the joints should be checked and tightened every few months.
When is the price lowest?
Convertible sofas like this usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Check the price history before buying.
