Is the Bosch CCS180B worth it?

At $94.49 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a cordless saw if you already own Bosch 18V batteries. Its 2 amp brushed motor suits plywood and framing cuts, not heavy production work.

It cuts 2-1/8 in. at 90 degrees and bevels to 45 degrees, so it handles 2x lumber at square and thinner stock on a bevel. The 6-1/2 in. blade limits depth as you tilt.

Does it come with a battery?

Yes, this kit includes a battery. It uses Bosch 18V packs, so it shares batteries with other Bosch 18V tools.

How does it compare to a brushless saw?

Brushless saws run longer per charge and hold speed better in thick stock. The CCS180B is lighter and cheaper, and its electronic brake and motor protection are useful, but expect shorter runtime on long rips.

When is the price lowest?

The lowest daily price in the recent window was $87.00 on November 4, 2026, against a high of $90.00 on October 31. The current $94.49 at eBay sits above that range, so waiting for a drop toward $90 or below is reasonable.
