Is the GSR 18V-60 C worth it over a cheaper brushed drill?

For regular use, yes. The brushless motor should last longer and run more efficiently, which matters if you drill often. For occasional light jobs, a cheaper brushed model is enough.

Does it come with a battery and charger?

It depends on the bundle. Many listings are bare tools with no battery or charger, while kits include them. Check the listing contents before buying.

Can it drill into concrete or brick?

No. This is a drill driver with no hammer mode. For masonry you need a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

What size bits does the chuck take?

The 13mm keyless chuck takes round and hex shank bits up to 13mm, which covers common wood, metal and screwdriver bits.

Does it use the same batteries as other Bosch tools?

Yes, it runs on Bosch's 18V blue professional batteries, shared with other tools in that range. Older or other-brand batteries will not fit.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices on cordless tools tend to dip during seasonal sales and when a kit is being replaced. Compare the bare-tool and kit prices, since the kit is often the better value.

Our take on the Bosch GSR 18V-60 C Cordless Drill Driver

The Bosch GSR 18V-60 C is an 18V brushless drill driver aimed at trade and serious DIY use. Its brushless motor and 13mm keyless chuck put it a step above Bosch's entry-level green line. It is sold as a bare tool or in kits, so the battery and charger you get depend on the bundle. It is a current model, so expect pricing to sit near the middle of its usual range rather than at a clearance low.
