Is the Bosch GXL18V-260B26 worth it?

It is a solid two-tool brushless kit with two batteries, good for anyone without Bosch 18V tools. At $509 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026, check whether buying the drill and driver separately is cheaper before committing.

What is included in the kit?

An 18V brushless impact driver, an 18V brushless drill/driver, two 18V batteries and a charger. Confirm the exact battery capacity and case contents with the listing before buying.

Does it have a hammer drill mode?

No. The drill/driver is for wood, metal and plastic; there is no hammer function for concrete or masonry.

Can I use my existing Bosch 18V batteries?

Yes. Both tools run on Bosch's 18V battery platform, so older Bosch 18V packs should fit.

Is it good for a beginner?

Yes. Two tools cover most drilling and driving around the house, and the shared battery keeps things simple.
