- Is this hutch suitable for winter outdoors?
- The enclosed upper level gives shelter, but bare wood weathers in rain and frost. Treat it and add bedding, or move it under cover in hard winters.
- How many rabbits fit in it?
- It suits one rabbit, or two small bonded rabbits. The run is short for large breeds or rabbits kept in it all day.
- Do the trays come out for cleaning?
- Yes. The pull-out trays slide out from the lower level, so you can empty and rinse them without opening the whole cage.
- Does it need assembly?
- Yes, it ships flat and needs to be put together. Set aside an hour or two and have a screwdriver and a helper for the panels.
- Is $229.99 a good price?
- Only one store prices it new at $229.99 as of November 8, 2026, so there is no recent low to compare. Check comparable two-story wood hutches before deciding.
- Where is the Boyel Living Natural Wood Rabbit Hutch 2 Story Cage Trays cheapest?
- At Lowe's, for $229.99, as of our latest check.
