Is the Brentwood 12-cup coffee maker worth it at $59.97?

At $59.97 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is priced like a mid-range programmable drip machine. You get a 12-cup glass carafe, a timer and auto shut-off in a stainless steel body. If you need a large pot on a schedule, it covers that; if you want a thermal carafe or single-serve brewing, look elsewhere.

How much coffee does it actually make?

The carafe holds 12 cups and the water tank holds 60 ounces, which matches a full pot. Cup sizes here are the standard 5-ounce coffee-cup measure, so a full brew is about 60 ounces total.

What filters does it use?

It takes standard basket-style paper filters. Those are inexpensive and sold in most grocery stores, so you are not locked into a proprietary filter.

Does it have a timer and auto shut-off?

Yes. The digital controls include a programmable brew timer and auto shut-off, so you can set it the night before and it will not stay on indefinitely.

When is the best time to buy it?

Only one store, Target, listed it new at $59.97 as of November 3, 2026, so there is no price history to time a drop against. Watch for Target's own coffee-maker sales and holiday promotions rather than waiting on cross-store competition.
