Is the Brentwood AF-202BK worth it?

For one or two people who mainly reheat and crisp snacks, yes, if the price is low. If you cook for a family or want precise temperature control, a larger digital fryer is a better buy.

How much food fits in a 2-quart basket?

About one to two servings: a single chicken breast, a handful of fries or a few reheated slices. Overfilling crowds the food and cooks it unevenly.

Can you put the basket in the dishwasher?

No. The aluminum basket is hand wash only, so wash it with warm soapy water and dry it fully to protect the coating.

What temperature range does it have?

It goes up to 400°F, which is enough for frozen fries, nuggets and vegetables. Expect some variance from the dial setting, so check food early the first few times.

What comes in the box?

The air fryer unit with its basket and a basic manual. It is a single-basket model with no accessories or recipe book included.

Small-appliance prices dip around Black Friday, back-to-school and end-of-summer sales. Watch the price history and buy when it sits near its low.

Our take on the Brentwood AF-202BK 2 Quart Small Electric Air Fryer

The Brentwood AF-202BK is a compact 2-quart electric air fryer with simple button controls and a 400°F maximum temperature. Its small basket suits one or two people or a side-dish role in a bigger kitchen, and it takes up little counter space at about 10.2 inches wide. It is a budget-tier machine, so expect basic build quality and hand washing of the aluminum basket.
