Is the Bright Starts Comfy Bouncer worth it?

At $28.37 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a vibrating seat with a toy bar. It suits short-term use for a newborn rather than a long-term seat.

Does it bounce or only vibrate?

It vibrates; there is no bounce or rock motion built in. Any bouncing comes from a parent or from the baby's own movement.

What batteries does it need?

It takes C batteries, and they are not included. Buy a pack with the bouncer, since vibration drains them with regular use.

How long can my baby use it?

Until 20 lbs, which many babies reach within the first several months. It is an infant seat, not a toddler chair.

Can I wash the cover?

Yes. The seat pad and insert are machine washable, and the rest of the frame wipes clean.

What comes in the box?

The seat pad, the insert and the toy bar. Batteries are sold separately.
