Our take on the Brooklinen Purple Super-Plush Bath Towels

The Brooklinen Purple Super-Plush Bath Towels are a two-piece set of oversized bath towels woven from Turkish cotton, sold in a deep purple colorway. They are built for softness and absorbency rather than quick drying, with a plush, heavy hand feel. • Oversized cut covers more of the body than standard bath towels
  • Sold as a matched set of two, so no mismatched dye lots
  • Deep purple colorway is uncommon in mainstream towel lines
  • Brooklinen's towel construction is generally dense and durable
Cons
  • Plush, heavy towels dry slowly and can stay damp in humid bathrooms
  • Purple is a strong color that limits matching with other linens
  • No price was listed here, so value is hard to judge without checking the live comparison
  • Oversized towels take more shelf and hook space
  • Turkish cotton towels can shed lint in the first few washes

Questions and answers

Are these towels worth the Brooklinen price?
They make sense if you value softness and size over fast drying. Compare the live price against other Turkish cotton sets before deciding, since plush towels at this level often cost two to three times a basic set.
How do these compare with Brooklinen's classic bath towels?
The Super-Plush line is heavier and softer than the standard towels, with a denser pile. The trade-off is longer drying time and a higher price.
How big are the oversized towels?
Brooklinen's oversized bath towels are larger than the typical 30-by-56-inch bath towel, so they wrap around most adults. Exact dimensions are not listed here; confirm them on the product page before ordering.
Will the purple fade after washing?
Deep dyes on plush cotton usually hold reasonably well if you wash cold and skip high heat. Expect some softening of the shade over many washes, and wash separately the first time.
What is in the set?
The set contains two bath towels in the purple colorway. Hand towels and washcloths are sold separately.
When is the best time to buy?
Brooklinen runs sitewide sales around major holidays and occasional warehouse events. Watch the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
