Is the BSHTI 73 good for sleeping every night?

It is a futon-style sleeper, so the cushion is thinner than a mattress. It suits occasional guests better than nightly use; add a mattress topper if someone sleeps on it regularly.

What size is the bed when it folds flat?

It is a twin sleeper, so the flat position fits twin-size bedding. The 73 in the name refers to the sofa's width in inches.

A wood frame with velvet upholstery and armrests at each end. The velvet is soft but picks up lint and marks, so spot-clean it.

Is $167.99 a good price?

Walmart lists it at $167.99 as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price tracked. With no other stores to compare, judge it against other twin futons, which often run $200 and up.

Does it come assembled?

Expect to assemble the frame and arms yourself; flat-pack futons in this price range usually ship unassembled. Check the box contents before buying.
