Pros
  • Wheat mashbill gives a softer, sweeter profile than rye-heavy bourbons
  • 47% ABV carries more flavor and body than the standard 45% Buffalo Trace
  • 7-year age statement is printed on the bottle
  • Certified kosher, which is rare among Kentucky bourbons
  • Comes from the Buffalo Trace distillery with its consistent quality
Cons
  • Allocated and limited, so supply is thin and prices run above standard Buffalo Trace
  • Only one new listing at $62.99, leaving little room to comparison shop
  • Wheated mashbill may feel too mild for drinkers who want rye spice
  • No age beyond 7 years stated, so batches can vary

Questions and answers

Is Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat Recipe worth $62.99?
At $62.99 from Kent Wines & liquors as of November 5, 2026, you pay a premium over standard Buffalo Trace for the wheat mashbill, 47% ABV and kosher certification. If you want a soft wheated bourbon or keep kosher, it is reasonable. If you just want everyday Buffalo Trace, it is not the value pick.
How does it differ from regular Buffalo Trace?
Regular Buffalo Trace uses a rye-heavy mashbill at 45% ABV with no age statement. This kosher release uses a wheat mashbill, is bottled at 47% and states 7 years on the label, so it drinks softer and slightly richer.
Is it actually kosher?
Yes. Buffalo Trace produces this series under kosher supervision, and the bottle is labeled kosher. Check the specific symbol on the label if your standards require a particular certification.
How strong is it?
It is bottled at 47% ABV, or 94 proof. That is higher than the 45% of standard Buffalo Trace, so expect more heat and concentration, especially neat.
When is it cheapest?
Allocated bourbons like this swing widely in price. The only new listing found was $62.99 at Kent Wines & liquors as of November 5, 2026. Watch for restocks at MSRP-friendly retailers rather than paying secondary-market markups.
Where is the Buffalo Trace Bourbon Kosher Wheat Recipe 750ml cheapest?
At Kent Wines & liquors, for $62.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Buffalo Trace Bourbon Kosher Wheat Recipe 750ml?
