Our take on the Buffy Linen Duvet Cover, King

The Buffy Linen Duvet Cover is a single duvet cover made from a linen-hemp blend, finished with an envelope closure and corozo nut buttons. The blend gives it a soft, textured hand and breathable warmth, and it is machine washable and fast drying. It is sold as one cover, not a set, so you supply the duvet insert and shams. The listing shows a 4.5 out of 5 rating from 274 ratings; no current price was provided, so check the live comparison for where it sits against its recent range.

Pros
  • Linen-hemp blend is breathable and softens with washing
  • Corozo nut buttons and envelope closure keep the insert in place

  • Solid color works with most bedroom styles
Cons
  • Sold as one cover only; insert and shams cost extra
  • Linen wrinkles and creases, which not everyone likes

Questions and answers

Is the Buffy Linen Duvet Cover worth it?
It suits shoppers who want a breathable natural-fiber cover and don't mind linen's wrinkles. Compare its live price against cotton and linen rivals before deciding, since it is a cover only.
What size is this duvet cover?
The listing gives 90" x 90", which is the Full/Queen size, despite the King name. Measure your duvet before ordering, because a king insert will not fit.
What is included in the set?
One duvet cover only. No duvet insert, pillow shams or bed-in-a-bag pieces are included.
How do you wash it?
Machine wash cold and tumble dry low; the linen-hemp blend dries fast. Skip fabric softener and high heat to protect the fibers and corozo buttons.
Is it good for hot sleepers?
Yes. The linen-hemp blend is breathable and the cover has no fill, so it adds little warmth over your insert.
When is it cheapest?
Linen bedding usually discounts around major sales and end-of-season clearances. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
