Our take on the BWE 8 in. Waterfall Widespread 2-Handle Bathroom Faucet with Pop-up Drain Assembly in Spot Resist

The BWE Waterfall Widespread faucet is a two-lever brass bathroom faucet with an open-channel spout that pours in a sheet rather than a stream. It ships complete with a pop-up drain, supply lines and valves, and its Spot Resist finish is meant to hide water spots and fingerprints. The 1.2 gpm flow rate and ANSI/NSF certification make it a low-flow, lead-free fixture. At 8 in. wide and 4.72 in. tall, it suits standard vanity sinks with a single-hole or widespread setup.

Questions and answers

Is the BWE waterfall faucet worth it?
If you want the waterfall look and a complete kit, it is a reasonable value. If you mainly want quiet, splash-free washing, a standard aerated faucet serves better.
Does it fit a single-hole sink?
Yes. It is listed as needing one hole, and the 8 in. width covers a widespread drilling if you have three holes.
What is in the box?
The faucet, a pop-up drain assembly, valves and supply lines. You should not need to buy a drain separately.
How much water does it use?
1.2 gpm, which is at the low end for bathroom faucets and meets common water-efficiency standards.
Will the waterfall spout splash?
It can at full pressure, especially with the spout close to the basin. Lower the flow with the handles to reduce it.
When is it cheapest?
Bath faucets like this tend to dip during remodel-season sales and holiday promotions. Check the price history before buying.
