This is a five-roll pack of Italian crepe paper from Cartotecnica Rossi in Sun Yellow No. 576, each roll 50 cm wide and 2.5 m long. The paper is 180 g with a 40 gsm base sheet and stretches over 260%, which is why it holds up for flower making, party backdrops and costume work. Questions and answers

Is this paper good for making flowers?
Yes. The 180 g weight and over 260% stretch let you cup and curl petals that hold their shape. It is heavier than standard tissue-weight crepe, so it suits roses, peonies and similar flowers.
How much paper is in one pack?
Five rolls, each 50 cm wide and 2.5 m long, for about 12.5 m total. That is roughly enough for a few dozen medium flowers.
What is the difference between 180 g and 40 gsm here?
The 40 gsm is the base sheet before creping; the creping process builds it up to the 180 g finished weight. The finished paper is what you feel and shape.
Can I use it for party backdrops?
Yes, the 50 cm width covers area quickly and the color is solid. Keep in mind the rolls are short, so a full wall needs multiple packs.
Is it cheaper anywhere else?
As of November 8, 2026, the best new price is $21.99 at Amazon, and two stores list it new. Compare per-meter cost, since pack sizes vary.
