Questions and answers

Will these fit my frames?

Check your frame's lens width, bridge and lens height. The shield is sized for 53 mm lenses, an 18 mm bridge and 31 mm lens height, and CA Glasses lists it for 50–55 mm oval and round frames. Frames outside that range may not clip securely.

Do they work over progressive lenses?

Yes. CA Glasses lists compatibility with bifocal, progressive and single-vision lenses, since the clip-on sits in front of your existing lenses. Your prescription stays in the frame underneath.

Is $39.95 a good price?

Only one store prices it new at $39.95 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no lower competing listing to compare. Judge it against the cost of a second prescription sunglasses pair, which is usually much higher.

What is in the box?

Expect the clip-on sun shield itself. A case or cloth is not confirmed in the listed specs, so ask CA Glasses before ordering if that matters.

Can I use them while driving?

They darken the view in front of your prescription lenses like ordinary sunglasses. Check that the tint suits daytime driving and that the clip stays put when you look down at the dashboard.

When is the price lowest?

With a single seller there is no sale history to time. Watch the CA Glasses listing around seasonal eyewear promotions rather than waiting for a price war.

Where is the CA Glasses Prescription Sun Shield Clip-On Sunglasses cheapest?

At CA Glasses, for $39.95, as of our latest check.
