Is the Cafe CustomFit worth $979?

At $979 at Appliance Depot as of November 5, 2026, it is priced at the low end of its recent range. That is reasonable for a quiet three-rack smart dishwasher, but check recent owner reports on drying before you commit.

How quiet is it compared with other dishwashers?

It is rated at 44 dBA, which is quiet enough for open kitchens and living areas. Most standard dishwashers run in the 50s.

Does it need a special installation?

It is a standard built-in unit 24 inches deep and about 34 inches high, so it fits a typical 24-inch cutout. It runs on 120 V at 7.2A and needs normal hot water and drain hookups.

You get the dishwasher itself with the three racks, plus the usual install hardware. Power cord and water supply line are often sold separately, so confirm with the store.
