The Calpak Hue Starter Bundle is an 8-piece travel set: a carry-on and a large checked suitcase in polycarbonate hard shells, plus three packing cubes, two pouches and a luggage tag. Both cases expand up to 2 inches, roll on 360° spinner wheels and have built-in TSA locks. It is sold in Black, Walnut, Rose Quartz, Chocolate and Juniper. The lowest recorded price is $346.80, seen on October 29, 2026, so there is no lower price history to compare against yet.

Pros
  • Two expandable hard-shell suitcases plus six packing accessories in one purchase
  • Polycarbonate shells resist scuffs better than soft fabric
  • 360° spinner wheels make a loaded checked case easy to push

  • Five colorways, including Walnut and Juniper
Cons
  • Hard shells have no exterior pockets for quick-access items
  • Built-in locks add weight and can jam if the mechanism is damaged
  • Packing cubes are sized to Calpak's cases, not other brands
  • Only one price point recorded so far, so no proven discount window

Questions and answers

Is the Calpak Hue Starter Bundle worth it?
If you need both a carry-on and a checked bag, buying them with cubes and pouches in one set usually costs less than assembling the pieces separately. At $346.80 it is a mid-range hard-shell set, not a premium one.
How does the Hue set compare with Calpak's other luggage?
Hue is Calpak's polycarbonate hard-shell line with expanders and built-in TSA locks. Softer Calpak lines trade that protection for exterior pockets and lighter weight.
Do the suitcases expand?
Yes. Both the carry-on and the large case expand up to 2 inches, which adds a few days of packing room but pushes the carry-on closer to overhead-bin limits when full.
What is in the box?
A carry-on, a large suitcase, small, medium and large packing cubes, a small pouch, a second pouch and a luggage tag. That is the full 8 pieces.
Are the wheels and locks replaceable?
Calpak does not sell replacement spinner wheels or lock assemblies for Hue cases as standalone parts. Damage to either usually means a repair or warranty claim rather than a swap.
When is the price lowest?
The only recorded price is $346.80 on October 29, 2026. Calpak sets tend to drop during Black Friday and end-of-season sales, so watch those windows.
What do buyers say about the Calpak Hue Starter Bundle 8-piece Set?
