Is the Cambond 3-Piece Compression worth it?

At $11.99 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, you get three pens and three refills, so the cost per pen is low for a refillable set. It makes sense if you write in black and like a medium line; skip it if you need fine points or other ink colors.

Three black 1.0 mm pens and three extra black ink refills. No other colors or point sizes are included.

How long does one refill last?

Cambond rates each refill at about 3,900 feet, or 1,200 meters, of writing. That is a long run for everyday notes, though heavy daily use will use it up faster.

Is the 1.0 mm point good for everyday writing?

Yes for notes, forms and signatures, where a medium line reads clearly. It is too broad for small handwriting, margin notes or detailed diagrams.

Does it come in other colors or point sizes?

This set is black ink only, in 1.0 mm medium point. If you need blue, red or a finer tip, look at other Cambond sets.

When is the price lowest?
