Our take on the Camp-Gear Campgear Table Economy 60x40cm

The Camp-Gear Campgear Economy is a small folding camping table with a steel frame and an MDF top, sized 60 x 40 cm and standing 50 cm tall. It weighs 1.95 kg and holds up to 25 kg, so it suits two people eating or a stove and a few items rather than a full family spread. The MDF top is moisture resistant but not weatherproof, so it should not be left out in rain. Its best new price is $23.95 at OutdoorXL.com as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against right now.

Questions and answers

Is the Camp-Gear Campgear Economy table worth it?
At $23.95 at OutdoorXL.com as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to get a folding two-person table. If you need a taller table or one that survives rain, spend more.
Can I leave this table outside in the rain?
No. The MDF top is only moisture resistant, not weatherproof. Wipe it dry and store it indoors or under cover after use.
How tall is the table and what chairs fit it?
It stands 50 cm high, which is low for most camping chairs. Low chairs or sitting on the ground suit it best.
How much weight can it hold?
The steel frame is rated to 25 kg. That covers plates, drinks and a small stove, but not a person sitting on it.
What is included with the table?
The listing describes a folding steel frame with an MDF top. No carry bag is mentioned, so plan to carry it folded.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition. Watch for end-of-season camping sales, when folding tables are usually discounted.
Where is the Camp-Gear Campgear Table Economy 60x40cm cheapest?
At ! OutdoorXL.com, for $23.95, as of our latest check.
