Is the G3010 worth it over a cartridge printer?

If you print regularly, the refillable tanks usually pay off because ink bottles cost far less per page than cartridges. For occasional printing, a cheaper cartridge model may be enough.

Does the G3010 print double-sided automatically?

No. It has no auto duplex, so you flip the paper yourself for two-sided pages.

Can I print from my phone?

Yes. It connects over Wi-Fi and works with Canon's cloud and mobile printing apps, so phones and laptops can print without a cable.

What comes in the box?

A new unit in original packaging typically includes the printer, setup ink bottles, a power cord and setup guides. Check the listing for the exact bundle before buying.

How many pages can it print per month?

Canon rates the recommended monthly duty cycle at up to 1,500 pages. Printing well beyond that will wear the unit faster.

When is the price likely to be lowest?

The only recent price on record is $479 at eBay as of November 2, 2026, with no lower point seen. Watch for holiday and back-to-school sales, when printers usually drop.

Our take on the Canon Pixma G3010 all-in-one ink tank printer

The Canon Pixma G3010 is a wireless all-in-one ink tank printer that prints, scans and copies in color on A4 paper. It uses refillable MegaTank reservoirs instead of cartridges, which keeps running costs low, and it connects over Wi-Fi, USB or Canon's cloud apps. It has no auto duplex, no document feeder and no touchscreen, so it suits light home and small-office jobs rather than heavy volume. The lowest price seen recently is $479 at eBay as of November 2, 2026, and that is also the highest price seen, so there is no cheaper recent benchmark to compare against.
