Our take on the Captiva Designs 10pc Outdoor Wicker Rattan Patio Half-Moon Curved Sectional Sofa Set with Cushioned Ottoman

A 10-piece outdoor sectional built around a curved half-moon layout, with two fan-sofa pieces, armrest chairs, armless chairs and two ottomans in PE rattan over a steel frame. Each seat is rated for 350 lbs, cushions are 4 inches thick, and the pieces clip together so the curve holds its shape. The ottomans double as footrests, extra seats or coffee tables. It suits a large patio or a fire-pit conversation circle better than a standard L-shaped set.

Questions and answers

Is the half-moon shape practical or just decorative?
It works well when the curve faces a fire pit or a focal point, since everyone can see across the circle. Against a wall it wastes space behind the curve, so measure the footprint first.
How many people does it seat?
The set has eight seating pieces plus two ottomans, so it seats eight comfortably and up to ten with the ottomans used as seats. Each seat holds up to 350 lbs.
Can I rearrange the pieces into a different shape?
Yes. The clips are removable, so you can split the set into smaller groups or run it as a straight sectional. The fan-sofa pieces are the only ones with a fixed curve.
Does the rattan hold up in rain and sun?
PE rattan resists moisture and UV fading better than natural wicker, and the steel frame is solid. The polyester cushions are the weak point, so bring them in or cover the set in heavy rain and winter.
What is in the box?
One two-piece fan sofa, two armrest chairs, two single sofas, two armless chairs and two ottomans, plus the connecting clips. Cushions are included; a fire pit table is not.
When is it cheapest?
Outdoor furniture discounts most in late summer and early fall as stores clear patio stock. Watch the price history for a drop below the usual listing.
