Our take on the Carbon Go Kart 36V with Adjustable Seat

The King Toys Carbon Go Kart is a single-seat electric go kart for kids, with a 36V drivetrain, a top speed of 9 to 14 mph and a 180 lb payload limit. It has an adjustable PVC seat, inflatable rubber front tires and solid EVA rear tires, plus a smart braking system and a handbrake. At $649.99 at KingToys USA as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forKids and young teens who want a faster ride than a basic ride-onFamilies with a flat driveway or smooth paved areaBuyers who want an adjustable seat that grows with the childParents who want a handbrake plus a foot pedal setup
Pros
  • Adjustable seat fits a wider range of rider sizes
  • Top speed up to 14 mph is quick for a kids' kart
  • Handbrake and smart braking system add a second way to stop
  • Inflatable front tires soften the ride on pavement
  • Forward, reverse and left-right control from the foot pedal
  • 40 lb frame is light enough for two adults to move
Cons
  • Single seat only, so no passenger rides
  • 180 lb payload limit rules out most adults
  • Solid rear tires transmit more bumps than inflatable ones
  • No suspension listed, so rough surfaces will be harsh
  • Only one store lists a new price, so there is little price competition

Questions and answers

Is the Carbon Go Kart worth $649.99?
At $649.99 at KingToys USA as of November 3, 2026, you are paying for a 14 mph kart with an adjustable seat and a handbrake. That is reasonable for the speed and size, but compare it with 24V karts if your child is small or the budget is tight.
How fast does it actually go?
King Toys lists a top speed of 9 to 14 mph. Expect the lower end on grass or slight inclines and the higher end on smooth, flat pavement.
What age or size of child fits it?
The seat is adjustable and the kart carries up to 180 lbs, so it suits older kids and young teens. The 71-inch length and 35-inch width mean it needs a fair amount of open space.
What comes in the box?
The kart and a battery charger are included. Nothing else is listed, so plan on a helmet and any safety gear separately.
Can it go in reverse?
Yes. The controls cover forward, backward and left-right movement, so it can back out of tight spots.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store, KingToys USA, lists a new price, so there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for seasonal sales at that store rather than expecting a lower price elsewhere.
Where is the Carbon Go Kart 36V with Adjustable Seat cheapest?
At KingToys USA, for $649.99, as of our latest check.
