Are these gloves actually waterproof?

Yes. Carhartt lists the shell as waterproof, and the ripstop taffeta back and synthetic palm are built for wet snow and slush. They are not designed for submersion.

They use Polyfil insulation with a FastDry lining, which suits cold winter chores. They are not heated, so they are not a match for extreme cold or long stationary exposure.

Do they fit true to size?

Carhartt sizes them for women, and this listing is size S. Some buyers report the fit runs small, so consider sizing up if you plan to wear a liner.

What is the best price right now?

$30.99 at Wilco as of November 7, 2026. Only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.

Can I use them for heavy construction work?

They handle winter yard work, shoveling and light hauling. For heavy abrasion, a leather-palm work glove will last longer than the synthetic palm here.

One pair of Carhartt Women's Quilts Gloves in the selected size. No liner or extras are included.
