Is the Carlisle StorPlus 3-gallon box airtight?

No. It uses a snap-on lid, not a gasket seal, so it keeps dust and spills out but is not airtight. Fine for dry goods and short-term fridge storage.

What are the exact dimensions?

The box is 18 inches long and 12 inches wide, with a 448 oz (3 gallon) capacity. Check your shelf depth before ordering.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

Yes, the box is dishwasher safe. Top-rack washing is gentlest on the plastic and keeps the clear body from clouding.

What comes in the set?

The set includes the storage box and color lids in red, blue, green, yellow and clear. Confirm the exact count on the listing before buying.

Is it worth it over a cheaper plastic tote?

If you need a half-size box that fits commercial shelving and survives dishwasher cycles, yes. For light household clutter, a basic tote costs less.

Food storage containers often drop during back-to-school and January organization sales. Compare the set price across stores before buying.
