Our take on the Carter's Adult 2-Piece Christmas Gingerbread Fleece Loose Fit Pajama Set

This is a two-piece adult pajama set from Carter's, the children's brand known for soft cotton basics. It is made of fleece with a loose fit, long sleeves and a Christmas gingerbread print. The loose cut and fleece fabric suit cold-weather lounging and holiday mornings. It is a seasonal novelty set, so sizes and stock tend to thin out as December approaches.

Questions and answers

Is the fleece too warm to sleep in?
Fleece holds heat, so it suits cold bedrooms and lounging. If you keep the house warm at night, a cotton set will be more comfortable.
How does the loose fit run?
It is cut loose by design, so most shoppers can take their usual size. Size down if you want a closer fit.
Can I wear this outside the holidays?
The gingerbread print is clearly Christmas-themed. The pieces work as plain warm loungewear at home, but the print stands out.
What is included in the set?
A long-sleeve top and matching bottoms in the same gingerbread fleece print.
When is the best time to buy?
Holiday sets like this are usually discounted after Christmas and in early fall before the season. Waiting until January risks missing your size.
